Tyler’s balanced methodology can be attributed to his entrepreneurial personality and background. After working as an online marketing specialist at a local startup, Tyler launched The Wandering Cow, one of Boulder’s most beloved food trucks. He eventually pivoted to real estate, where he began earning a stream of accolades for his marketing savviness and photographic finesse; the latter of which was built from his experience as a business manager and photo editor for a renowned National Geographic photographer.
His quick success in real estate motivated Tyler to open Hyphen Real Estate Group alongside his childhood friend, Ryan Scott. Tyler and Ryan have since collaborated as the Managing Broker and Director of Operations of Hyphen respectively, utilizing their chemistry, camaraderie and Boulder-raised mindsets to create a natural advantage for Hyphen and their clients. Together, the team is renowned for building strong relationships with clients and fostering lasting friendships that extend beyond the realm of real estate. Ryan Scott, Owner + Director of Operations
With a deep understanding of marketing, sales and management, Ryan applies his background expertise to create meaningful relationships and experiences with each real estate client. He has helped produce marketing which has sold over $250 million in gross real estate sales. With a deep understanding of B2B and B2C sales interwoven with a passion for serving others, he brings a clear perspective and guidance to the Hyphen Group’s commitment and focus on luxury real estate across the front range and analytical approach that drives him to perform at the highest levels. His dedication to excellence and results-driven mindset makes him stand out as a real estate professional.
Ryan was raised in Boulder, Colorado and graduated with a Bachelor in Marketing with Minors in International Economics and Small Business Management from Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. Since then Ryan has worked as a consultant and sales manager in numerous industries, including broadband, multifamily real estate investing and high-ticket coaching services. Ryan has led teams in high-impact organizations and it was within these roles that Ryan honed his technical sales, business development and team leadership abilities. To foster an understanding of individual motivations, Ryan asks probing questions and opens a channel of free-flowing communication to find innovative solutions that lead to client satisfaction.

Patrick Chang, Broker
Patrick Chang brings over three decades of deep local knowledge and expertise to the real estate market in Boulder and Denver.
